Call (Poker)
When a player makes a bet matching the previous bet.

The number of coins put in the slot machine each spin.
Cold (Slots)
Used to refer to a slot machine that has not paid out any winnings for a while. Also refers to video poker games that are not paying out.

To be on a losing streak.

Cut (Casino Card Games)
In card games after the deck has been shuffled it is split into two and the top and bottom half are reversed.
Cut Card
A card that is used to cut the cards.
Deal
To give out the cards during a card game.
Dealer
The casino employee in charge of dealing the cards to players, also known as Croupier (French for dealer).
Deuce
A card with the value of two or a two in dice.
Dice
Small cubes with the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on the sides.
Die
Singular for dice, a cube with numbers 1 to 6 on each side.
Double Down (Blackjack)
A betting option on a blackjack table where you place double your bet and get one more card, often played with hand totals of 11.
Double Up (Machine Games - see Casino Games)
A feature on slots and video poker machines where you can double your wins by guessing the outcome of red or black or by picking a higher card.
Double Up (Poker)
The event of winning an all in bet at the poker table. A player "doubles up" as their chip stack is doubled if they win.
Draw (Poker Games)
The draw is the second round of cards that you receive after you have decided which of your original cards to hold.
Drop Box (Table Games)
The area underneath the gaming table where any money, chips and markers are stored.
Edge
The mathematical advantage that the casino has over the player with all casino games.
Expected Win Rate
In slots, the percentage of all money wagered that players can reasonably expect to win back over time.
Exposed card (Poker)
A card's face has been revealed to other players accidentally or deliberately during the play.
